Solar, wind and biomass are no longer "alternative" energy, they're the baseline for how new infrastructure gets built. We research panel efficiency, monitor campus solar output, and study how small-scale renewables perform in a tropical, high-humidity climate like Malaysia's.

EV adoption is accelerating faster than charging infrastructure and grid capacity can keep up. We look at charger placement, battery technology, and whether a shared charging network could realistically work on a university campus.

Sensors, IoT and open data turn ordinary infrastructure into something that responds, from air quality monitoring to traffic flow. We prototype small sensor networks and use public data APIs to see how a city could react in real time instead of on a fixed schedule.
